Life in the Cracks
I was in the swimming pool when I noticed this little weed growing out of a crack in the sidewalk. This must be one resilient little weed, because it is hot and I don't think it gets hit by the sprinklers. It might get the occasional splash of chlorinated pool water, but I doubt that can be very good for it.

Life is pretty amazing - and this little piece of grass is certainly what I'd call a survivor!
I love spotting things like that! I once saw a photography student trying to create it. I was walking down a semi-busy but not terribly bad street in Queens and she was on the ground trying to get this daisy to look like it was growing out of the concrete. lol
you sure found a resilient weed.
what a view! nothing stops nature from going about it's business.
simple but nice, well done Natalie.
Argh!!! Those things are such pests! They'll grow anywhere and everywhere.
Well seen, life despite the odds.
