The Results From Thursday's Contest
I can tell that this one was mildly more difficult than the last one because there were less people brave enough to guess. Of those who did venture to guess, many were correct. It was a green ice-cream cone. However, there was one clear winner. Alex guessed it right down to the brand of ice-cream cone.

sheeeesh - Alex got it down to the T - all he needed was the barcode on the box for the cones and it would be the complete response - u sur he was not standing behind you as you photographed this? hehe - excellent guess Alex!

I fondly remember those colored cones from my childhood. We'd all want a specific color, insisting it tasted better than the other, but they all had the same bland taste..
now a mint cone..that would be a great idea! ;)
I was not surprised that Alex guessed that it was a green ice-cream cone, but I had no idea he was so familiar with the box. I shouldn't have been surprised, though. Ice-cream runs thick in our blood. =)

i would have to agree, Natalie. Ice cream is in the Durham blood. :-)
I just remembered that clown on the box from when I was growing up as this was the brand my great-grandma usually had at her house, and we always got an ice cream cone with thrifty's ice cream when we came over to visit.
