Thursday Contest Picture Revealed
It's not the most exciting looking picture, but I thought it would be great for the contest. I didn't realize Dave MacIntyre was an expert on fire hydrants. =) Although, I should have known since he had posted a picture of one recently on his blog. Congratulations Dave for guessing it right away. Timmybomb guessed the same (which is permitted) so he's a winner too. Next time I think I may try using comment moderation over the weekend to keep the guesses secret until Monday morning and see how that affects the guesses. What do you think?

Comment moderation would be cool...makes it more of a surprise...BTW: I feel so special! ;o)
That is a odd looking hydrant, I'm only use to the 2 ended ones (yes, and red).
The moderated comments might work better. I figured Dave was correct, but since I didn't know beforehand, I put some BS down.

we only have bright yellow hydrants here but gosh I would not have guessed - and I think comment moderation would be a great idea - and please forbid experts in the subject matter from entering - that is so not fair and I will protest the results of this contest to the contest commission! haha - your game is definitely much more fun than mines =P
Lots of choice on this hydrant, it's getting hot, so keep the spanner handy, good shot.
I suppose some people might be influenced by previous guesses -- I look and don't have a clue so I don't even check the comments.
