I took this picture a couple of months ago. It's been sitting in my folder for this blog. At the time I took it I remember thinking that winter in southern California is more like fall in places that have real winters. It gets cold enough for the leaves to turn colors and fall off ever so slowly. But the reason I put this picture up today is because it's so outdated. Our trees already think it's spring time. Many of the deciduous trees that shed their leaves are now growing new vibrant green leaves again. What's it like where you're at?

Yeah, here in North Carolina it's 65 one day and 25 the next. But we never get any white stuff! Not enough to really count, at least. We need a good snow before spring hits.....
