A Nosy Visitor

5/12/07 Butterfly farm at the La Paz Waterfall Gardens, Costa Rica

If you ask my 5 year old daughter what she liked best about Costa Rica, the answer would easily be the butterflies. Sure, we saw wild butterflies, but the best was visiting the butterfly farms and being surrounded by an abundance of these beautiful little creatures and trying to get them to stand on our fingers. Some butterflies were friendlier than others. I like this picture because it captures a magical moment. How many people ever have a butterfly land on their nose?

The family and I spent a weekend in Milwaukee last year and in their musuem, they had green house of sorts that they had butterflies in. tehy would land anywhere on my boys. It was neat
