A Proud Moment for a Five Year Old

My daughter lost her first tooth tonight. She is SO proud. She has been showing everyone her loose tooth for a week or two now and it finally came out. I read that baby teeth tend to fall out in about the same order they came in. This tooth that she lost tonight could possibly have been that momentous first tooth. And in exactly two weeks she'll start kindergarten. Crazy.

Ah, the circle of life. Joy's fifth baby tooth is just starting to appear. I can't even imagine her in kindergarten, but it'll be here before I know it.

My word verification is bgkidr. Yeah, "big kidder" indeed.

I was at work when my daughter lost her first tooth, so many years ago. My husband brought her--and the tooth--into work so she could proudly show me the result of "biting down on pizza crust."

oooh boy , I remember those days! that first tooth really seemed to hold on forever... then poof... it was out in my son's hand..
then my daughter... she lost it eating a tortilla.... it seems like yesterday... and now they have so many permanent teeth =)

they grow so fast!

Congrats to your baby.... & good luck with the transition to Kindergarten =)
