I saw this weird looking, apparently dead, bug on the walking path out by our apartment. I suspected it was a cicada so I did a little research and discovered that I was right. This one is an annual cicada, which means it comes out every year as opposed to the ones that come out every 17 years. Those have freaky red eyes.

I think this one is done singing.
