I'm not known for my steady hands. So a 2 second exposure to capture some fireworks with no tripod can look pretty interesting. I like how this one turned out. You can see a slightly more steady shot here.
hey Natalie.. nice pics. It is amazing that you managed to get a good shot with a 2 sec exposure without a tripod. I can never do that. I'm sure your pics would have been fantastic if you used a smaller aperture and a tripod. If you are interested, here are my July 4th fireworks. This was my first serious attempt to shoot fireworks.

I think fireworks pictures are much more interesting like this. The orange one looks like a tiger lily.
Yeah, like that a lot. Vibrant colours and slight blur give it real dynamism.
i actually like the unsteady hand.
at first glance it looked like a night shot of some exotic flower.
A good Photo...I love fireworks...the night lights!
I like the exotic look. This definitely is not boring!
I agree with Brittany. It does indeed look like a flower! Cool!
Very nice flowers, indeed.
hola ultimas fotos muy bonitas
I prefer the freehand shot... great color and abstract feel.
